Dr Mica Engel developed this line after the success of her AMICA range. Her vision was to create revolutionary products for all skin types, including medically sensitive and pregnant women.
It’s estimated that the average woman uses 12 products containing 168 different ingredients as part of her daily beauty regime. This includes harmful chemicals that wreak havoc on the epidermis and encourages premature ageing!

Beauty – it is in the eye of the beholder and lies within all of us. For those who would like to see their beauty truly reflected on the outside, the need for a talented and caring professional is paramount. Dr. Michele Cassol Engel, AKA Mica, is that person. A doctor with a gift for the creation of beauty, but one with a special place for her patients in her heart.
Dr Mica began her career in Brazil in 2004 where she qualified in general medicine. She worked hard as a GP and as an A&E doctor – roles she is immensely proud of and where her natural empathy was appreciated by her patients and colleagues. Her thirst for knowledge took her to the University of Udine in Italy for a post graduation course in Preventive Medicine, and the Anti-Ageing Medicine subject was a new specialism that soon brought Dr Mica to London in 2007.
Working in some of the most prestigious cosmetic clinics across London, including the Urban Spa in Harrods, Bodyvie Medi Clinic in Richmond, the Lifestyle Clinic and the Waterhouse Young Clinic in Harley Street, Dr Mica began to get a respected reputation amongst her peers – becoming a practitioner of repute within a few short years.
With expertise across a number of cosmetic procedures, Dr Mica is probably best known for her work with dermal fillers, non-surgical facelifts, cheek and chin augmentation and lip enhancement. Described by her patients as “Mica-angelo” her ability to produce flawless results that are always subtle and suited to the individual, has allowed Dr Mica to build relationships with clients who come back year after year.
Now, as the woman behind Cosmetica London, Dr Mica has produced "Dr Engel Natural Skincare" designed to create revolutionary products for all skin types, including medically sensitive and pregnant women. Dr Mica is not one to rest on her laurels and is inspired by new techniques and ingredients – many of which have made it into her clinically tested products.
Dr Mica is a Member of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine and General Medical Council. She treats thousands of patients a year, consistently achieving flawless results.
